Nebraska FFA District 2 LDE Recap
As promised, here is the recap of Nebraska FFA's District 2 Leadership Development Event Contest Recap!

This event with District 2 of Nebraska took place on December 4th at Howells-Dodge High School and in their Ag Building! We had state officers there to hang out with us and present awards after the contest concluded. At this contest, I participated in Parliamentary Procedure and Junior Prepared Public Speaking!
-Parliamentary Procedure
- Our team did not do as well as we hoped.
- We placed 4th in District 2 and are the alternate for the State Parliamentary Procedure Contest in April.
-Junior Prepared
- My speech was over the importance of education consumers on food safety!
- I went last in my room and it went very well! It was the best presentation I had ever given and I had some really good ones during practices!
- I was selected to present in finals for both rooms and went 2nd of 6. This presentation was not my best but I felt confident in it!
- I placed 1st in my district and qualified for state!
Another member of our team placed 2nd in Extemporaneous Public Speaking and also qualified for state!
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I am so grateful that I said yes to Parliamentary Procedure and Junior Prepared Public Speaking and I am so excited to represent well at state contests in a few months!
As always, thank you for reading!
As a side note, there will not be articles for the next 2 weeks because of finals and education comes first!
